A GREETING FROM
THE HEADMASTER OF
LE CHAT BOTTÉ
As incredible as the achievements of our graduates may sound, the simple truth is that
our methodology is based on well-known and proven facts.
The first and most important is that, before the age of six, a child essentially
does not care what language to learn: the young brain is designed to absorb
and process information in any form presented to it.
The second is that a child can’t thrive without a good group of other toddlers.
Being taught a foreign language by a tutor or nanny,
while this has its merits, a child cannot learn to communicate effectively with peers,
to play by the rules,
to analyze one’s behavior and compare it to that of others.
Lessons and games in a group, on the other hand,
contribute to the development of character traits that are essential in adulthood.
And finally, the third is that a small child can learn anything in the world,
as long as the lesson is a game.
This is why our students play games about The Little Prince and The Puss in Boots in French, about Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh in English,
and about Snegurochka and ‘The Twelve Months’ in Russian.
Only through games can the idea of an intellectual,
creative and healthy childhood manifest itself fully.
The idea of an integrated boutique kindergarten, successfully implemented by our staff,
allows mums and dads to watch the growth of their children
while enjoying the pleasures of parenthood,

knowing that their children have been offered the very very best.
